Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop February 2011

The Mini Counterfeit Kit Challenge for the blog hop was to create a layout based on this sketch from Scraps of Darkness.

Here is my take on the sketch...

Everyday Kind of Wonderful

I always make 2 page layouts, so that explains the second page.Everything I used was from my Counterfeit Kit and Add-On Kits except for the pink flourish stickers.  The paper down the right hand side of my layout was actually the packaging from the the Page Pebble Embellishments!  I was excited to use this packaging on the layout :)

Here are the pictures of my Counterfeit Kit and Add-Ons...

Here are the layouts I made with my kit...

  1. WOW Meridy - I thought I'd done well with 6 12x12 pages and 3 8½x11 pages and a box full of scraps but you have been SO creative this month! Lovely pages too - well done!

  5. Meridy, your layouts are absolutely beautiful! Plus, they all look so different, I would never have guessed that they were all made from one kit. I am in awe, too, by all of the projects that you made. I have only made one layout and two cards so far. I think that will be a mini challenge that I issue to myself next month-to use up as much of my kit as possible! ;)

  15. WOW... you made a ton of great projects with your kit. I also love to make 2 page LO's...or at the very least, 2 pages that complement each other.

  16. Meridy,

You were busy, girl! I can't believe you had time to finish all of those layouts AND cards this month while still keeping the blog hoppin'! I love your style...and, I "used to" always make two page layouts, too. I need to get back to doing that again. I'm totally a "balance" person and two-pagers really make things "balanced".

  17. I love the handmade flowers that go across the two pages. I love doing two page spreads. :) Looks like a fun time as the subject of your layout too. And WOW! so many projects from your kit! I'm totally impressed. I only did the two layouts but it was definitely fun to have a kit to work on. Using black and red was a challenge for me, but a fun one. :) Thanks for all your hard work on the challenge blog!

  18. Meridy, great to see so many double page layouts as it's something I struggle with. Fantastic use of the kit, just goes to show what you can achieve with a concise amount of stash.
